Youth continue empowering their community

Team Saathi (National Alliance of People's Movements),

E-portal workshops continue. Young members have been tirelessly assisting their community in filling forms, educating them about the documents and eligibility criteria, as well as finding glitches in the e-portal. Based on their findings, they have been writing short reports to communicate with the team of lawyers, activists and academics. Their findings are extremely important as this informs the rehabilitation policy and the legal process.

We are a group of activists and academics working in the field of environment, housing and informality who came together to join Khori Gaon residents in their long fight for justice. This collaboration we have undertaken with the residents is called Saathi which means comrade in Hindi.
