The Supreme Court’s orders of 2020 and 2021 for the eviction of Khori Gaon residents has finally been put into practice impacting and affecting the lives of those living there. With the demolition drive in full swing and no plan of action to rehabilitate the residents especially in the middle of a pandemic, what is the future of those residing in the village? YKA Sharada Vinod travelled to Khori Gaon to speak with families and those severely impacted by this demolition.
