स्वतंत्रता और विरासत का सम्मान: खोरी गाँव में एक भावपूर्ण उत्सव > Honoring Independence and Legacy: A Heartfelt celebration in Khori Gaon

15 अगस्त 2024 को, जब भारत ने अपना 77वां स्वतंत्रता दिवस मनाया, हम खोरी गाँव के लोग स्वतंत्रता दिवस के उत्सव और हमारे प्रिय विमल काका (विमल भाई) को श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए एकत्र हुए। विमल भाई, जिन्हें हम प्यार से विमल काका कहते हैं, एक समर्पित कार्यकर्ता, कवि और लेखक थे, जिन्होंने खोरी की लड़ाई में हमेशा साथ दिया और इस दिन उनका निधन हुआ।

हमारा आयोजन सुबह 10 बजे चुंगी नंबर 03 के सामुदायिक हॉल में शुरू हुआ, जहाँ 70 से अधिक निवासी शामिल हुए। हमने एक भावपूर्ण ध्वजारोहण समारोह से शुरुआत की, जिसमें खोरी गाँव की एक दादी ने खूबसूरत देशभक्ति गीत गाया। भारत के स्वतंत्रता संग्राम, खोरी के आंदोलन और विमल काका के प्रभाव पर विचार करते हुए, हमने अपने विचार साझा किए और राष्ट्रीय ध्वज को फूलों की श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की। इसके बाद सभी ने मिलकर मिठाइयों का आनंद लिया। इस उत्सव को खोरी के बच्चों के सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों ने और भी जीवंत बना दिया। उनकी प्रस्तुतियों ने सभी उपस्थित लोगों के दिलों को छू लिया और एक अमिट प्रभाव छोड़ा।

On August 15, 2024, as India celebrated its 77^th Independence Day, we the people of Khori Gaon came together for a dual purpose, to celebrate our Independence Day and to pay tribute to Vimal Kaka (Vimal Bhai). Vimal Bhai we affectionately calling Vimal Kaka a dedicated activist, poet and writer who support Khori’s struggles until his passing on this day.

Our gathering began at 10 AM at the community hall of Chungi No. 03, where over 70 residents join us. We started with a heartfelt flag hosting ceremony, enriched by a beautiful patriotic song from a Khori Gaon grandmother. Reflecting on India’s freedom struggle, Khori’s protest and Vimal Kaka’s impact we shared our thoughts and paid floral tributes to the National Flag and enjoys sweets together. The celebration was further enlivened by cultural performances from the children of Khori. Their performances brought warmth and joy, leaving lasting impact on all attendees.
