28 अप्रैल को, हमने 31 मिनट की डॉक्यूमेंट्री ‘खोरी’ की स्क्रीनिंग का आयोजन किया। इस डॉक्यूमेंट्री का निर्देशन सुकन्या रॉय ने किया है और इसका निर्माण मदीहा शकील ने किया है। यह स्क्रीनिंग चुंगी नंबर 02 के सामुदायिक हॉल में हुई। डॉक्यूमेंट्री का फोकस खोरी गाँव के विध्वंस पर था, जो बच्चों के अनुभव से शुरू होकर खोरी निवासियों के दृष्टिकोण तक जाता है। डॉक्यूमेंट्री में लिखित विवरण भी थे, और हमने प्रतिभागियों को इसकी सामग्री समझाई। स्क्रीनिंग को देखकर कई निवासियों ने भावुक प्रतिक्रिया दी, क्योंकि उन्होंने स्क्रीन पर अपनी ही जिंदगी देखी। इस अनुभव ने सामुदायिक सहनशीलता और अपनी कहानियाँ साझा करने के महत्व को उजागर किया।
On April 28, we organized a screening of the original 31 min. documentary titled ‘Khori’. The documentary is directed by Sukanya Roy and produced by Madiha Shakeel. The documentary screened at community hall of Chungi No. 02. Documentary focused on the demolition of Khori Gaon, which begins with the experience of children and extended to the perspective of Khori residents. While there were written description of the documentary, we explained the contents to the participants. The screening elicited emotional response from many residents as they view their own lives on screen. The experience highlighted the community resilience and importance of their sharing their stories.
